Installation Guide
Best practices for installing WateroPipe pipes and fittings.
CPVC Pipe Installation
CPVC pipes should be cut cleanly with a pipe cutter or hacksaw. Clean the pipe end and fitting socket with CPVC cleaner, apply CPVC solvent cement evenly, join immediately with a quarter turn, and hold for 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours cure time before pressure testing.
PPR Pipe Installation
PPR pipes use heat fusion welding. Heat the pipe end and fitting socket simultaneously using a polyfusion welding tool at 260°C for the appropriate time (based on pipe diameter), then push together firmly and hold steady for the specified cooling time. Do not rotate after joining.
uPVC & PVC Pipe Installation
For uPVC and PVC pipes, cut pipes squarely and deburr the ends. Clean both the pipe and socket with uPVC cleaner. Apply solvent cement on both surfaces, push the pipe into the socket with a twisting motion, and wipe off excess cement. Allow adequate cure time before use.
PTMT Fittings Care
PTMT bath fittings are rust-proof and do not require special maintenance. Clean regularly with a mild soap solution and soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Check thread connections periodically to ensure they remain tight and leak-free.
